Selective Enrollment for International Students

Application Requirements

  • Students who have completed at least 12 years of education in their home country (equivalent to graduating from high school in Japan).
  • Students who have a clear purpose for studying abroad and a strong desire to acquire knowledge and skills in their field of specialization.
  • Students who fall into one of the following categories:
    • Have completed at least 6 months of Japanese language education at a Japanese language school accredited by the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education, or be enrolled in a university or other institution and have good grades and attendance.
    • Have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) with a score of N2 or above (or BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test with a score of 400 or above), or have passed the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) with a score 0of 200 or above in the Japanese language subject, or have equivalent Japanese language skills.
  • Students who are able to obtain and extend (from a Japanese language school) an entry visa (student visa) by the end of March 2026.
  • Those who are physically and mentally healthy without any symptoms of legal communicable diseases or other symptoms of illness.

※Applicants must clearly indicate their current address at the time of submission of the enrollment application, and the address must include the name of the building and the room number.

  • Certificate of attendance and grades issued by Japanese language school (Document detailing attendance at school) *Invalid if opened

Apply for a screening fee exemption at an Open Campus event, during a school tour, or online, and enclose a screening fee exemption form with your application.

In addition to the above tuition, students will have to pay the items listed in “Other Expenses”.
※In principle, all of the tuition is to be paid at once during the first year, but only the course fees can be split into two payments over the first year.

Study Tour Reserves

Students in three-year and two-year programs go on a study tour abroad during their second year. The participation fee is to be paid in two installment payments. Payments for these reserves are to be paid <1> when enrolling at the school and <2> when paying tuition during the second year. Certain destinations may require payment of additional costs.

Health Management Expenses

Health management expenses are allocated to medical examinations, student group insurance (insurance benefits for schoolwork expenses, etc.), etc. For the details of the insurance, please request the documents and check the enrollment requirements. With regards to payments, 20,000 yen shall be paid at the time of enrollment, and 20,000 yen shall be paid when paying the tuition for each year.

Graduation-related Expenses (Only during graduation year)

These expenses are allocated to operation expenses for the graduation exhibition, graduation ceremony, etc.
In three-year programs, 30,000 yen is paid during payment of third-year tuition.
In two-year programs, 30,000 yen is paid during payment of second-year tuition.

Alumni Expenses (Only during graduation year)

These expenses are allocated to operation of the Alumni Association (which aims to foster friendship between current students and graduates of our school). Lifelong membership of the Alumni Association is 10,000 yen.

The cost for purchasing course materials (①Analog course materials ・②Digital course materials) may vary depending on the department.

①Analog course materials (※Must be purchased at the course material guidance held in April after enrollment.)

Taking into consideration the effectiveness of education, the curriculum is reviewed every year and necessary teaching materials must be purchased.
The following amounts are reference prices based on the cost of course materials for students enrolling in April 2025.
Those who already have design course materials will be asked to purchase any missing materials.
In addition, students must pay about 2,000-5,000 yen per month for art course materials and off-campus learning expenses (transportation, entrance fees, etc.) during regular classes.

②Digital course materials (※Must be purchased online after December 2025.)

You will need to purchase a laptop computer and software.If you already have a laptop computer available for use in class, you do not need to purchase one.
We will send you the materials explaining the purchase of digital course materials by mail in mid-December 2025. After reviewing the materials for the purchase of digital course materials, you can purchase them through the school's exclusive website for purchasing digital course materials.

The Mac Book Pro (about 300,000-480,000 yen) is recommended for departments marked with ★ above (※Including the cost of purchasing software such as Adobe, etc.). The Windows (about 250,000-400,000 yen) is recommended for departments marked with ★ above (※Including the cost of purchasing software such as Adobe, etc.).
